CASORB HS2 – Water-Regenerable H₂S Adsorption Media

AQOZA CASORB HS2 is a uniquely engineered media for removing low concentrations of H₂S and VOCs in wastewater treatment and other applications, where the media can be regenerated on-site with fresh water. It is made of virgin activated carbon with no impregnation and offers catalytic oxidation of H₂S gas through a proprietary process; water regeneration extends the media’s working life. HS2 does not convert H₂S into sulphur, so its adsorption capacity is retained after regeneration — instead it converts H₂S to light H₂SO₄ during regeneration, which is dilute enough to drain to the wastewater stream.

Features and Benefits:

  • High H₂S loading
  • Cylindrical pellet
  • Water regenerable
  • Minimal risk of bed fire

CASORB HS3 – High-Capacity Water-Regenerable H₂S Media

AQOZA CASORB HS3 shares the HS2 platform — a uniquely engineered, unimpregnated virgin activated carbon that removes low concentrations of H₂S and VOCs and can be regenerated on-site with fresh water — but delivers roughly double the H₂S loading (0.3 min vs 0.16 g/cm³). It offers catalytic oxidation of H₂S through a proprietary process, does not convert H₂S into sulphur (so capacity is retained after regeneration), and converts H₂S to light H₂SO₄ during regeneration that can be drained to the wastewater treatment stream. Ideal where higher H₂S loading and longer service intervals are needed between regenerations.
