Job Title -Service Engineer

- Qualification - Diploma and BE/BTech (Mechanical)

Roles and Responsibility
Installation, Commissioning, and Technical Support
Carry out on-site installation and commissioning of heating products and related service systems, ensuring timely and quality execution.
Demonstrate and validate fuel-saving performance of the systems to customers during commissioning.
Provide hands-on troubleshooting support for equipment issues, including technical faults, operational anomalies, and component failures.
Customer Relationship and Support
Serve as the single point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring prompt and professional communication.
Address complaints effectively by diagnosing problems and implementing long-term corrective actions.
Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with customers by visiting during warranty and proactive service stages.
Preventive Maintenance and Reporting
Develop and recommend preventive maintenance schedules and action plans to customers based on product usage and service history.
Submit timely and detailed service reports covering site observations, rectification measures, and performance evaluations.
Product Validation and Field Feedback
Conduct validation and efficiency trials of equipment to benchmark its performance in real-world conditions.
Collect and analyze field data to support continuous product improvement and feedback to the product engineering team.
Audit, Licensing, and Installation Review
Execute licensing programs and perform Installation and Commissioning (I&C) audits of Thermocare Associates (TCA) to ensure proper procedures and safety compliance.
Drive efforts to reduce Free of Cost (FOC) service instances through accurate and reliable installation practices.
Conduct walkthroughs of customer installations to verify adherence to engineering and safety standards.
Execution of Branded Services
Handle service enquiries and execute branded services such as:
- RLA (Remaining Life Assessment)
- Health Checkups
- HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study)
- IIOT (Industrial Internet of Things) integrations
- I Serve (Thermax’s proactive service solution)
Promote these solutions as value-added offerings to enhance customer satisfaction and equipment reliability.
